UFCW 8-Golden State has reached a tentative contract agreement with Cost Less Foods. The three-year agreement secures health & welfare benefits, pension funding and provides meaningful wage increases for members.
Contract ratification materials are being prepared and members will have an opportunity to vote on the agreement in the coming weeks.
“We have successfully negotiated substantial wage increases, with no negative concessions, for our members at Cost Less Foods,” said Jacques Loveall, president of UFCW 8-Golden State. “District Union Reps will be in the stores to explain the terms of the agreement and answer any questions.”In store, voting is planned to take place later this month.
