Southern California negotiations resumed this week. The companies’ proposals continue to fall short of adequately addressing the needs of our members. They fail to properly fund the medical plan and lack any offer to secure pension benefits.
Additional meetings are scheduled next week. A considerable amount of progress is necessary before we can reach an agreement which could be recommended to our members.
