UFCW 8-Golden State members working at Rite Aid locations in Southern California, along with members at Southern California UFCW locals, have ratified a new contract with their employer.
The new three-year agreement includes significant wage increases, new Night Premium pay, and substantial improvements to medical, dental, and vision benefits. Wage increases are retroactive to the end of the prior agreement, July 17, 2021.
Additional benefits include more flexibility with bereavement leave, improvements in the weekly guarantee and full-time status contract language, and the ability to bargain over the effects of any changes to California Board of Pharmacy regulations, which impacts Pharmacy Technicians.
