In our recent meetings with the company, we have made it clear the current conditions are not sustainable for Pharmacists or our customers.
We spoke about our members struggles to meet growing demands while providing critical services to those in our communities. Our message has been consistent: Staffing is insufficient; Wages are a priority.
The company increased their wage offer, but it remains inadequate. What happens next depends on all of us. We must show that every pharmacist is standing together for the contract we deserve. Wear your Union buttons, and if management asks, tell them “We are united and standing together for what we deserve!”
Bargaining resumes May 11 and 12 and we will keep members updated with any progress. Reach out to your District Union Representatives with any questions, ignore the rumor mill and let’s show the companies we are united and ready to stand together for the contract we deserve.
