ROSEVILLE, CALIF. (June 14, 2022) — UFCW 8-Golden State has reached a tentative agreement for members working at Northern Calif. Foods Co. locations.
The new agreement follows recent contracts reached at Save Mart, Safeway and Vons in Northern California.
This agreement includes historic wage increases through the term of the agreement, March 5, 2024. The new contract also includes faster wage progressions to reach the top rates and significant ratification bonuses. Other improvements were made to medical and pension benefits, including a new Lifetime Income Security Accrual Fund (LISA), which is in addition to the current union-negotiated pension.
Complete details of the tentative agreement will be provided to members for review and ratification. Your Union recommends a YES vote.
