July 13, 2022 — UFCW 8-Golden State and Adventist Health have had several meetings and are making progress towards reaching a new agreement — some key components, including wages, remain unresolved.
We have secured a contract extension, and bargaining continues this week. Contract terms and conditions remain in effect as we continue talks with Adventist Health.
“Our members have worked tirelessly through the pandemic,” President Jacques Loveall said. “Their dedication to their community and employer should be acknowledged in bargaining by Adventist.”
Member unity plays a critical role in negotiations. We are unified in our resolve as we work towards reaching a new contract which rewards our members’ hard work.
