Additionally, UFCW 8 members working at Adventist Health will see improvements in On Call/Stand By pay, Per Diem staffing opportunities and a new Joint Labor Management Committee.
UFCW 8 and the company have agreed not to release the complete details of the tentative agreement until members have had the opportunity to review and ratify their new contract.
A “drop-in” meeting has been scheduled at the hospital on Wednesday, November 16th from 7 AM to 4 PM, where members will have an opportunity to review the new agreement and have questions answered by their District Union Representative prior to voting at the meeting.
“Our members working in hospitals and healthcare have worked through some very challenging times without the ability to perform their work from home like so many others enjoyed,” said Jacques Loveall, President of UFCW 8-Golden State. “This agreement will provide substantial improvements in the lives of our members and their families and rewards their dedication and hard work. Together we have proven once again, Solidarity Works!”
