UFCW 8-Golden State is pleased to announce a tentative agreement has been reached with Perfect Union, marking a significant step forward in securing a strong future for our members in the cannabis industry.
After lengthy negotiations—impacted by broader uncertainty across the cannabis market—we’ve delivered a contract which reflects the vital role our members play in this evolving field.
Highlights of the Tentative Agreement Include:
- Industry-Leading Wages: Members in the wage progressions and experienced rates will benefit from increases throughout the life of the agreement.
- Secure Healthcare: Continued access to quality healthcare remains a protected benefit.
- Enhanced Holiday Pay: Increased holiday pay for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
- Retirement Improvements: IAP contributions will rise from $0.40 to $0.60 per hour, strengthening future retirement savings.
- Contract Term Through April 1, 2028: Ensuring long-term security and peace of mind.
