After an intense week of bargaining with Albertsons/Vons in Southern California and Safeway/Vons in Northern California, we wanted to share a quick update. We knew this latest round of negotiations would be critical, and your bargaining team pushed hard through the night and into the early morning to ensure progress continued.
We’re not there yet—but we are moving forward with urgency to win the fair contract you deserve. Right now, we’re waiting to receive and review the employers’ full proposal. Once we have a clear picture, we’ll provide another update with additional information.
We know there are always plenty of rumors surrounding negotiations. The best way to get accurate information is through updates from your Union – We are fighting for your rights every step of the way. If you have questions—about bargaining or anything else—reach out directly to your District Union Representative.

Tras una intensa semana de negociaciones con Albertsons/Vons en el Sur de California y Safeway/Vons en el Norte de California, queríamos compartir una rápida actualización. Sabíamos que esta última ronda de negociaciones sería decisiva, y tu equipo negociador trabajó duro durante la noche y hasta la madrugada para garantizar que se siguiera avanzando.
Aún no hemos llegado a ese punto, pero estamos avanzando con urgencia para conseguir el contrato justo que os merecéis.
