Following months of negotiations, UFCW 8-Golden State is pleased to report we have a tentative agreement with Albertsons/Vons. These improvements represent meaningful progress for our members and reflect our strength demonstrated throughout negotiations.
We have successfully secured an offer which provides significant economic improvements for our Southern Calif. Pharmacists members. The tentative agreement includes:
- $7.75 per hour over three years
- $2.00 per hour in retroactive pay back to March 2, 2026
- An additional $0.50 per hour retroactive to March 2, 2026 for PICs
- A new supplemental pension plan to strengthen retirement security
- 12 hours of holiday pay based on regularly scheduled hours
The tentative agreement is not final until members have the opportunity to review, ask questions and vote. Your Union recommends a YES vote to approve the new agreement.
UFCW 8-Golden State will conduct in-person ratification meetings at pharmacist locations over the next couple days. Additional information regarding voting locations, dates and times and complete details of the new agreement will be provided directly to members. Members will have an opportunity to review the agreement, ask questions and cast their vote.
