UFCW 8-Golden State is pleased to announce members at Perfect Union have ratified a new contract. In a display of solidarity and unity, members voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new collective bargaining agreement which brings industry-leading improvements across the board.
Highlights of the Newly Ratified Agreement Include:
- Top-Tier Wages: Members in both wage progressions and experienced classifications will see consistent wage increases throughout the life of the agreement, securing meaningful financial gains and ensuring competitive compensation.
- Healthcare Protections Secured: Access to quality healthcare remains firmly protected under the new contract, reinforcing the importance of our members’ well-being and peace of mind.
- Boosted Holiday Pay: Holiday premiums have been enhanced for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, acknowledging the dedication of those who serve during these key holidays.
- Improved Retirement Benefits: Contributions to the Individual Account Plan (IAP) will increase from $0.40 to $0.60 per hour, delivering greater retirement security and supporting members’ futures.
With a contract term running through April 1, 2028, the new agreement offers years of certainty, security, and planning for the future.
