Pharmacy Law Update & Continuing Education Course

UFCW is hosting a virtual continuing education (CE) training presented by Board of Pharmacy Executive Officer, Anne Sodegren, on the new 2022 Laws and Regulations, such as:

  • Senate Bill 1442 – No Pharmacists Left Alone – and subsequent regulatory package
  • Senate Bill 362 – Banning the Use of Quotas in Community Pharmacies
  • Assembly Bill 1533 – Increased Enforcement Penalty and Fine Structure
  • The Board of Pharmacy’s enforcement process

For pharmacists whose licenses expire on or after July 1, 2019, the Board of Pharmacy requires at least two of the 30-hours of CE required for renewal of pharmacist licenses be completed by participating in law and ethics courses provided by the Board of Pharmacy. This course meets one hour of this requirement.
