We met with Albertsons/Vons for our second bargaining session last week. The companies’ current responses to our proposals are an attempt to whittle away at the protections we have in the contract. The company did not address issues such as wages, benefits, and staffing. Members deserve serious proposals, and we’re ready to stand together to get the contract we deserve.
The contract expires on March 1st, and additional bargaining sessions are scheduled this week. We will continue to keep members updated with any progress.
