Over the past several days, your Bargaining Committee has worked tirelessly to bring us closer to a contract which reflects the value and commitment our members bring to the job every day. Bargaining continued for 40 straight hours, stretching into the evening last night. It’s been intense, the challenges are complex, and it’s brought us to a critical point in the process.
The finish line is in sight. But we’re not done yet.
There are still several important details which need to be addressed before we can present an agreement we can recommend to members. These next few days will be focused on working through those remaining items to ensure your contract delivers the wages, protections, and improvements you have earned. Through it all, one thing has been absolutely clear—member solidarity has made all the difference.
Every action, every button worn, every conversation with a coworker has sent a powerful message to the company: we are united. This unity is our greatest strength, and it is what keeps driving negotiations forward.
