Negotiations resumed with Adventist Health this week and we made progress on several contract language items. We resolved multiple issues, getting closer to a complete agreement which protects and strengthens members’ rights at work.
A major focus of this week’s sessions has been on wages. There has been significant back and forth as both sides exchange proposals and continue to work toward fair increases which recognize the dedication and skill of our members. Negotiations are ongoing, and we remain firm in advocating for the increases members deserve.
In addition, the parties have been exploring the option of opening up to the Anthem health network, which would expand access to additional providers and give members more choices in their healthcare. This potential improvement represents another way we are pushing to secure meaningful progress for members and their families.
Our next bargaining session is scheduled for Monday, October 13. We will continue pressing forward, standing together in unity, and we will prove Solidarity Works!
