As members of a Union, we try to live according to values that promote justice, integrity and hard work. Our values also include supporting our Union sisters and brothers whenever possible.

     Shopping Union for your meals is easy when you work in a Union supermarket. When your shift is over, you can simply load up your cart with your favorite turkeys, hams, roasts and trimmings.

     In the future, we’ll tell you about wines and spirits that are prepared by your UFCW sisters and brothers, including members of UFCW 8.

     But what about our other purchases, such as appliances, clothing and gifts? Many of your local Union supermarkets carry appliances and other gift items, including small televisions, blenders, toasters, CD players and more.

     Resist the temptation to go down the street to the monster non-Union store to save a buck. Use your hard-earned dollars to protect the jobs of your friends and neighbors.

     When you shop, always look for the “Union Made” label. When you buy a Union-made product, you are protecting the jobs of the Union men and women who made it. You also support a company that provides its employees good jobs and fair representation.
